It will be a busy year in 2005 for Adrenalin-Moto on the race front, although sadly it won't be with a Buell in the UK as there just aren't the classes available to run one at the higher levels competitively. I did approach the organisers of the Minitwins series (SV650) to see if they would allow relatively standard XB9's in but they weren't interested.

We will be running an ultra trick lightweight XB in the Italian Supertwins series in partnership with our Italian distributors Free Spirits. This bike will be lighter than even the factory bikes and will feature some stunning new developments that are still hush hush, although suffice to say that the swingarm alone is around 7kg lighter than stock

We'll also be supporting Claudio Campi in the same series on his modified Captain America bike.

In the UK we will once again be supporting Jonathan Harrison, riding a Suzuki SV650 in the Bemsee/MRO Minitwins series. The bike will be dressed in similar bodywork to our XB racer and he will once again be wearing the distinctive orange & black leathers so will be easy to spot!

Last but not least is Jonathan's brother Richard, who next year will be campaigning a Kawasaki ZX10R in the British Superstock Cup and other selected meetings.

We wish all of them the very best of luck for 2005.

Seven kilos?!! You are getting rid of the swingarm? Or do I smell carbon fiber in the brew?

Will look forward to another Adrenalin Moto/Buell championship winning racing effort.

Best of luck.

The swingarm is a tubular aluminium part, with the oil tank located 'elsewhere'. The frame will also be very special: )

The Italian Supertwin series is open to unlimited capacity 2 valve air cooled twins, or 4 valve twins up to 750cc, so the Buell should be competitive straight from the word go! We will of course post pics and race reports as soon as they are available.
