Ok, I've tried to get the snorkel out but that sucker seems to be well put in there. Anyone have any idea how to get it removed? Pull or what?

I pulled mine out from the top. Just take care to not break the lower airbox cover. It's got a fitting above and below the plastic, so it helps to fold the rubber in on itself and then work the fitting off the plastic.

collapse the snorkel so the hole is closed up to get it out. There are some "tabs" at the base plate of the air box (the part bolted down to the frame under the air filter) which should be undone first. Once that is done it should't be a problem to get it out...spraying WD40 may help but shouldn't be required.
