Hello guys. I am converting my Buell XB12Scg top tree clamp to Firebolt top tree clamp and I ordered clutch cable for Buell XB Firebolt part number 38627-02D from st-paul-harley-davidson here https://st-paul-harley-davidson-buell.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-38613-03c-genuine-buell-clutch-cable-all-xb-lightning-models-u6a

The cable has weird piece of metal like a guide on the clutch lever side. I do not see such piece of metal on the st-paul-harley-davidson web site pictures. My buell 2009 XB12Scg clutch cable does not have this metal piece too.

What is this metal piece for?

Can I detach it and how?

Is it really Firebolt clutch lever?

The package has parts number 38627-02D and dated 2/20/19 . Did Buell change this part for Firebolt recently?

OK, I found some pictures in interned. This is a guide for the clutch cable. You just slide the cable in this piece if metal hook.
