Hey Gang,

Wondering if anyone knows which way the plastic bushing for the throttle return spring faces? It looks kind of like a top hat and will fit either way. It is installed behind the throttle cable cam and fits inside of the throttle return spring. I don't see it listed in the service manual.

Great thank you! Looks like the brim of the hat faces the throttle body which is how I originally had it, but just wasn't sure. What purpose does that bushing serve?

I'm guessing it reduces friction and wear of the throttle body by action of the return spring.
