Hi all, there is an XB for sale here, and the guy says the ECM is bad. I want to plug in a working ECM and make sure this bike starts up before I buy it, and he said thats fine.

Does anyone in the Phoenix area have an ECM I could borrow for a couple hours to go test out? I could leave you with cash to hold until I return it to you.

What year is the bike? I'm not in Pheonix but have a friend there.

Will have to do a TPS reset before the bike will run good.
Also xb9 or xb12?

Dennis, I sent you Cole's number in case he didn't. He gave me permission earlier.

Correct, I don't use this site much, not sure how the messages go. Feel free to text me or call me any time. If I don't answer leave a message. I do noise testing for a living, so often my phone is on silent.

You MUST do the TPS re-set! That can be done by the dealer if you don't have ECM Spy.

We are in Phoenix between both Holidays but I don't have ECM Spy. I will check which ECM I have on the shelf. I have a few.
