Going to change to Synthetic fluids (Motor & Gear oil)

Going with Mobil 1 15w50 motor oil and 75/90 rear oil, also Mobil 1. Going to use a K&N oil filter. I'v always taken my XB9 in for dealer service, but now I'm going to a local shop that is great, my oil and filter is no problem. Just need to know how much oil (motor & gear) I'll need to take to them? As you can tell I never change my own. I'm also gettin them to look at my front brake shutter. I remember the posts on here about it before and I have a print out somewhere of what needs done before looking at new pads, and rotor.

2.4 litres for the engine (including what you put in the oil filter - see below).
.95 litres for the tranny (and don't overfill it! i.e. don't put in a full litre!!!!!). Make sure they fill the oil filter half full before installing it!

Make sure they torque the bolts on the primary cover to the factory specifications. It is REALLY easy to strip the bolts when replacing the clutch & primary chain inspection covers.

It happened to my XB9s at a HD dealer who did not check the manual.
