I have an 03 xb9R, I have put about 8k on it and for a total of just over 21k miles on it. The tranny has always had a problem grinding when going from 2nd to 1st, but not all the time. I was going to tear it down this winter and do some head porting/cams/1050 but I found deal on a parts bike and bought it. A 2006 xb12x with less then 5k on it. I plan on using my 9 headers (the 12 are danged due to a crash) and my 9 primary gears. My brothers bike, 14 Triumph street Triple, is just a bit faster then mine after 65 and I plan to change that. My bike has the factory race exhaust and what appears to be the race ECU but does not have the race use only on it. So can I use the 9 ECU? I do have the cable and EMCSpy. If not I could get a map and reprogram the 12 ECU?

Any input and/or advice welcome.

Thanks,
Karcinagin
