Since I started using Mobil 1, my fan does not run while I am riding. However, on these warmer days, it usually runs when I shut off the XB.

Frankly, I like the idea of the fan and its mission but feel that it could be much quieter.

Anyone here locate a fan that can do this job without waking the dead?

I would buy one pretty quickly if it really worked.

I don't think its the actual fan you hear, but the air sucking along the head and blowing on the tyre. That noise the fan makes is neglectible compared to the wind noise.

If you want less noise it needs to rotate slower and move less air.

Oh its the fan noise alright.

I can hear the fan on the 12's when they are 100' behind me & we are doing 60+ mph.

For some reason the fans on the 9's dont sound as noisy tho.

If you'd put a pipe on that Yammie you wouldn't hear them anymore.

Buy Used; Save Money; and Screw the Warranty! You are only leaving yourself open for more heartbreak if you believe that strongly in warranties.

Considering the type of toys we choose and how we play with them, recalls are our only hope of getting something serious fixed regardless of manufacturer. LOL
