I searched but didn't find it. How much is a new XB Frame. And where can I get one. Anywhere besides the dealer? I have a friend who laid his down and wants me to get it cheap, It needs a frame and i need to know how much they are before i go on. Thanks.

I think the last price I heard was about 1300.00. From what I understand, you have to take the old one to the dealer to get the new one though. It's the VIN issue thing.

Yes. My frame was replaced recently. It can only be done through a dealership. They destroy the old frame and cut the front of the frame off where the VIN is. They must then send that piece into the Buell factory where the SAME VIN is stamped to a new frame and shipped back to the dealer. $1385 is the cost.

Then you could always try to resell the rest of the frame without the neck, like I saw on e-bay recently. DOn't know it if sold, I should of saved the photos but alsa I did not. I got a kick out of it.
