Unless you are putting the bike in storage, don't waste money on additives. Stabil is great for long term storage.

For the most part I agree with Froggy..

BUT, I know from my own testing that either Lucas or Red Line, Fuel Injector Cleaner, not only keeps the injectors clean, but the intake ports, the back side of the intake valves, and the combustion chamber to some extent.

I use it for three tank fulls over a weeks time (daily driven, 85 miles a day) at every oil change.

I started looking into this over 15 years ago, Been using one or the other ever since. (my estimation, Red Line is a "little" better, but both work well).
My old R1, at over 104,000 miles, the intake tracts and valves are clean. Haven't had an injector problem in over 600,000 miles of driving (several different bikes).
