Apologies if i'm repeating myself here but thought this might help -

quote:

I went to Harbor Freight and purchased their Master Fuel Injection Pressure Test Kit (Pittsburgh Automotive - Item# 97706). For my bike I had to use the number 28 fitting, which fit PERFECTLY between the fuel line and the throttle body.

Thanks for that info...Anyway you could post a few pictures of that fitting..May be able to find a gauge in Canada,H.Freight being in the US. Not sure If they ship to Canada and freight may be a killer too...

Not sure how the fitting will attached to the fuel gauge line...So,If i can see your fitting may be able to just pick up a F.Gauge by itself and 1 fitting alot cheaper..Really have no use for the rest of the kit. Perhaps too, if ya could a pic. with the line hooked on to the fitting...

Thanks

Sorry, thats an extract from a previous post on an XB9 we were troubleshooting long distance.
If you contact "Smiles" via PM or Email he might be able / willing to post some pics.

We don't have a "Harbour Freight" here either so can't really help with pics.

Will do some digging on the net tho , see what i can come up with.

If i needed one i would also just make one up.

You should be able to hit up a auto parts store, ask for 5/16 ford hookup and buy a cheap gage.

Thanks guys..So Any special year/ Model of a ford to ask for or any fuel injected Ford as long as its 5/16...I take it the 5/16 hooks into the line at the Fuel injector rail ( hose )End,where the two injectors get their feed from ..Undo it there install the 5/16 fitting one end goes to the fuel line up from the pump and the other part of the fitting goes into the gauge...So its Not a T fitting just like a L fitting .....OR is it a T fitting so the injectors are still Hooked up when testing the Pressure?

You have options that way....some are drop in setups others are straight unidirectional readings. ...go to the store ask to see there selection of 5/16s ford pressure testing fittings

Hmmmm I guess It would be Best to use like a T-Fitting that way one could ride the bike, and fasten the Gauge somewhere up around the Handle bars.. to check fuel pressure while riding as well...IN case it dies after riding abit? At least that way one can rule out a fuel pressure problem as well.... Would this be possible?

Thanks again for the info...

With enough tubing for the gauge, definitely.
