I'm adding the 12 airbox top on my 9 to cure some of the 'hole' in the midrange. Does anyone really know what causes this? Is it too lean or maybe too rich in that area? Anyone with AFV out there who could post their chart on this phenomenon.

Once you put the Buell Race can on you opened a hole. The only thing I have found that helps, is modify the air box to let more air in.
