ok, im going on my 3rd tire this season, the first being a stock dunlop and the 2nd and 3rd being a m1...i noticed on the lip of the rear rim that after i took my bike to the dealership to have them put the new tire on...that the rear lip is all scratched up and chipped up (missing the nice orange paint) i told the service manager about this, and they said they would look into it, but when i got the back back they didnt say anything...what should i do, because i need to get this 3rd tire put on, and im afraid if i take it to someone else they will say its void warranty...i want a new rear rim or my rim painted...thanks

If your dealership says having your tire mounted by someone else will void your bike's warranty then start shopping for a new dealership.
If they can't change a tire without damaging the rims then it's time to start shopping for a new shop anyway.

What the hell would having a tire mounted have to do with a warranty anyway?
The tire warranty?

I can see it now, I'm sorry sir but the reason your ecm went bad is because you had your tire mounted at a non authorized dealer.

If they messed up your wheel, they owe you a wheel. That isn't a warranty issue, it's a tech issue!
