Not sure about Buell, but I know Aaron or Pammy can make you a XB1200Sx tomorrow.

Of course, the one they make you would have an extra 15 horsepower over what the factory would make, and sound a lot louder.

Dana, do the moose bars come any farther up and back? If so, how much? How much were they? and where did you get them? What model number? Thanks!

If you look up the press releases you will find that Buell is saying that the 9 was chosen as the right motor for the CityX because the powerband is perfect. So, don't bet on a 12CX from the factory, not even in a year, let alone a few months. Convert a 12S.

Therein lies the beauty of the XBs, interchangeable parts to make your bike what you want it to be...except a XB12T that is: )

It is not going to happen. See the reasons above.

If you want a 1203cc Cx (improperly labeled as SX by the kooks at Buell) call Aaron or Pammy and you'll have a Buell that will scare you.

Beauty of the breed....symbiositicity twinxt maker and screwer' witheres.

: )

XB9SX...What is wrong with that nomenclature?

Granted they could have called it a myriad of things but it is an XB9S with an "X" package on it. Right?

Then again, Court may be onto something and CX would be a rational suffix for the City Cross if they were to proliferate the line with a supermoto (SM), a motocross (MX), a dual purpose (DP), or some other type of bike.
Hmmm...to maintain the two letter suffix concept, perhaps the XB9S should be renamed the XB9SF for StreetFighter. Then the XB9R could become the XB9RT for Race Track or XB9CR for Crotch Rocket. LOL

Personally, I like the generic and simplistic approach to model designations. Harley Davidson and their Alphabet Soup approach is a great example of how to make things more complicated than they need be.

Now, if only someone could explain what the XB stands for, it might make my day. LMAO

The B I figured stood for the Box frame, and the X, well, just look at the bike from the side, expecially the R's.

XB = X Blade = the name for the frame
