The bolt that connects my shifter lever to the engine fell off. Managed to ride home in 4th gear the whole way.

Anyone know the size of bolt for the replacement? I don't need a new shifter lever, just the bolt that connects the lever to the engine (not the bolt that goes into the case itself but the socket on the lever that then attaches to the case).

Thanks.

It's a 5/16"-18 grade 8 bolt. If you lost the bolt, there's a good chance you lost the bushing too.
