My '06 ulysses has started doing a odd thing. After hard acceleration and sometime normal driving the engine light comes on. Dosen't effect the running at all. When I come to a stop it goes off?! Any ideas?

I would check for DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Code) at the Diagnostic port. I'm pretty sure that whatever causes a CEL will throw a DTC.

Mine used to do the same(?) thing.
The code was for the o2 sensor and some times the exhaust actuator.

The fix was to repair cracked solder joints on the ECM's printed circuit board.
Then relocate the ECM.

See this thread (not my ECM photos)
