So this morning it was 47 degrees while riding to work. Sure it was 90 last friday when I was out riding around in the sun but not this week. This is a reminder that it will soon be cold here in MN and I will be forced to get out the electric gloves, etc.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen any sort of fairing extension for the XB_R models that blocks wind for your hands? As dorky as the CityX hand guards are, I'd actually like them for winter months but the fairing would most likely interfere. In the cutout area where the levers go at full turn, it may be possible to have something a little wider to block wind on the hands. Ideally they would be removable when temps are nice out.

I might be going on a ride this weekend up north, which will total about 500mi and the temps will probably be in the 50's. We'll see how it goes, but that can get chilly after a while. Am I going to have to custom fab yet another accessory for my Buell? I can make metal parts but molded plastic is a little bit tougher....and I don't want to simply cut out a gallon milk container and bolt it on!
