A friend of mine has one on his fz1 and after fiddling with it for a while seems to like it. I have a vista cruise setup on my uly and it works great. Quick flick to lock-unlock and alot cheaper too. I have to say the kaoko definitely blends in alot better but in my opinion the vista cruise is alot easier to use.

How do you use the o-ring?

+1 on the cheap O-ring. You simply put it between the throttle and the kill-switch box. The O-ring has enough grip and pressure to hold the throttle in place. You can easily release it with your thumb, and can even turn the throttle yourself with it still in there if necessary.

It also seems I heard at one time that Court uses a condom by cutting of the tip -- LOL!

If that's not true, my apologies for starting a rumor, Court. ; )

The O-ring I use is too small to fit between the stock grip and switches, so I flip it between my grip and HVMP barend. Takes zero effort, throttle can still be easily manipulated with it "locking the throttle", and it takes zero effort to flick it back out of "locked" position when I'm done.

you mean you're fumbling with an o-ring while riding? or you put in place and the tension is constantly there?

It takes more fumbling to use any of the other cruise control methods posted in this thread. Flick of the wrist and its engaged or disengaged.

What's the size of the o-ring? e.g. 2-125

We use quite a bit of o-rings at work offshore.

+1 on the one from 2wheelride. I couldn't remember where I got mine. It takes up less hand room than the vista cruise and is simple to operate.
