It snapped by the perch on the way to work today Other than Buellparts . net is there ANY where else to buy one? I can't seem to find any other options that might be a little cheaper. Parts availability is not an issue. I went to adjust mine and broke the threaded piece that sits under the water collecting accordion seal. Same price as my local dealer (that doesn't have one) quoted me. When I did a google search for this part only buellparts . net shows up. And last time I checked my local dealership they were 'phasing' out all there buell parts... I recommend either calling Al @ American Sport Bike or LJ in parts at Bumps HD. I suppose length is wrong but the ends are probably the same. with creative routing, could a sporty cable work? Wish they made a way to just repair/replace that part instead of the whole cable. I know there is a lot of stress on that part though.   Terrys1980 Posted on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 - 09:45 am:        For a field repair or temporary fix you can buy the crimp on ends from a bicycle shop. Another way would be to carry a small butane torch and lead to fix the end. That's how they were doing it on one of the chopper building shows on tv.
