I was doing a track day this Friday and had a blast. After one session I realized that the plastic right headlight cracked and the lens fell out. The plastic that holds the lens in place was cracked before (only in one small place) but I thought I fixed it with Krazy glue and electrical tape. But this track is fairly bumpy and cracked the plastic more open and the lens is now lost. Does anyone know where I could find a replacement headlight? Does anyone sells this stuff out there, or am I gonna have to wait until somebody has this for sale on e-bay? I attached some pictures.

Buy a brand new one from your dealer, they updated the headlamp assembly, it works much better than your original 03 lamps.

I think they're 60 bucks each, that's what they were a while ago.

Only stuff I have is also all cracked and they are 03 so they are the dimmest things that can be called lights.

I suggest a nice set of Hella lights, you'll never know how good it could be until you try them.

Thanks for the help. I'm always paranoid when something brakes on the Firebolt because these bikes are not made anymore and some parts might be hard to get. I will go to a Harley/Buell dealership here to see if they have this part in stock. I also e-mailed Buellsterparts to see if they ship to Canada, their website says they do not offer international shipping. If I'm unlucky everywhere I will send you a message Damnut. Thanks again for the quick help.

Actually, it's worse than you thought.

The right hand one is special to Canada and runs about $US167 according to chicagoharley.

I found a used headlight assembly on e-bay. Will a 2007 XB12R headlight work with my 2003 XB9R? I don't think there should be a difference, the unit is identical but I'm not sure about the electrical sides of things. I also asked the dealer here and it will be $150 with tax if I buy a new one part# Y04355AA, it's kind of nice that they can still order parts for Buells.

I hope that $120 came with mounting bracket and both lights.

Greg I think everyone but you understood that "whole headlight assembly" means bracket and both lights.

Take a look on ebay, often I see people asking more than $100 each for used 03 R lights (no mount, no lamp).

But then again I must just be stupid so maybe I'll just stop posting.

I originally wanted to buy just the right headlight from Buellsterparts.com for about $60, but they only ship in the US. That's why I had to buy the whole headlight assembly for more from e-bay.
