what gearing are you running with sprockets? jt |

Where? For Willow Springs I'll run 20/46. XB9 gearing in primary. I can spin the motor to 7,500 all day and 8,000 if needed -- so the lower gearing is really sweet. I think with a 12, you'd still be good with that gearing for a fast track. Otherwise maybe a 47 or 48 for something more twisty... but it's just hard to guess. Grab a 46 and a 48 and try them both at the track you're going to hit... IF you're talking street, you may not want to spin the motor so much. |

Where do you get your sprockets from? Are they a universal fit, or buell specific? |

By the way, we are talking gearing with 525 chain. Vortex makes sprockets to bolt directly to Buell XB wheel. Don't know if any of our sponsors sell them - bought my last ones from Kneesliders. |
