it has 950 miles in it, I still need to get it shipped, its bone stock.........

My other bikes are:
2007 Triumph Speedmaster,
2009 Kawasaki Versys
2008 Harley Fatbob

I'm thinking the STT will be cruiser torque with sportbike handling, sounds ideal, I hope I like it, I have never ridden a Buell.............

Great bikes, make sure and set the suspension per the owner's manual, it makes for a very comfortable ride.

Congratulations and welcome! Post up a photo on the thread or your profile so we can admire your new bike.

Check out the recent thread on the STT and browse the knowledge vault for additional info. Very fun bike on the track if you get a chance to run it there.

As everyone else said, welcome.

Your lucky to have found this place so early in your ownership. Lots of good info and people here. Before you know it, you'll be checking in here daily.

Congrats on your new bike. Have you named it yet?

I just picked up an 07 STT as well. With no permit, all I can do is make sounds in my garage, but I'll have that sorted soon.

Enjoy yours when you get it.

The bike will be delivered to my home at 7am tomorrow morning! I already have the Title transferred and new plates, now I have to call and get it insured............

Tomorrow I don't have to work, and its gonna be partly cloudy and 61, good day to take the Buell up to skyline drive (tons of curves), it will be my first ride ever on a Buell!!

Like mentioned above, do yourself a favor and before you put the plate on it, break out the owners manual and set the suspension up for your weight. It takes about 10 minutes to do, and makes a night and day difference!

Ok, the bike was delivered, I rode it all of 300 feet down my driveway,

The pegs are way too high! I'm 5'10", are the 2" drop pegs from Knighting the way to go?

Also of course its too quiet, but I'm a bit leery to change it out and do the racing ECU because of all the bad stories on here about the engine surging and having flat spots. I hope in stock form it has no issues.............................

I'm going to clean it and post some pics in a few hours, then adjust the suspension and take it for a proper ride.

I really like the fit of my 2" drop pegs from knightdesignllc.com but they do put the danger zone closer if you are a knee dragger.Randy and Alicia are great people and would really appreciate your business.

Glad you finally got your bike! (edit, pictures posted while I was writing this)

For your consideration I offer this: Standard (straight) pegs are pretty tight for me too (I'm also 5'10", 32+ inseam). My TT came with the Buell 1" drop pegs and I've found them to be just about right. I had the opportunity to demo a TT on the race track at Miller here in UT and never touched the pegs although this was probably the easiest bike to get a knee down on. Got to run it for a full session and it was great. Remember the suspension is taller than the standard S bike, about an inch I think, so unless dragging pegs is a regular thing for you you should be okay to add the additional drop to them(depending on your weight and body position of course).

My bike is entirely stock and has a pronounced stumble at 3K to about 3300 or so. A TPS reset fixed it for a little bit, but it came back and the throttle needs to be zeroed out again, there's a little play in it now. I imagine elevation and air density has something to do with my bike fueling but can't decide what to do with it. The E.B.R. ECM thingy would be nice, but I don't want to spend the money and need a new one if I ever replace the stock muffler. The drummers sound sweet.

That's just me $.02, there are others who've logged many more miles on a TT than I.

Nice TT, I really wanted one, still do.
If I could go off topic for half a second...
Have you ridden two up on your Versys?
Did it do well?
Thanks, now back on topic...
The TT is the only XB12 other than the XBR that I enjoyed riding up in the hills.
Congrats and welcome to BadWeB!

Easily tuned with ECMSpy - much cheaper than buying Erik Buell Racing ECMs.

I put 25 miles on it, mostly back roads:
There is absolutely no surging or a flat spot anywhere ; ) It handles amazing..... I definitely need to open up the exhaust and I guess open up the air box and do the ECMSpy...............

I will lower the pegs, and is there a seat from Corbin or Baldwin thats a little more sculpted or where you sit more in the bike as opposed to on it?

Sharp bike!

Just an FYI: those stock pegs are a 1" drop, so with a 2" drop peg you will only be gaining 1"

The Ss seats will fit, so any of their variations will adjust your seating position. Corbin has a gunfighter and lady seat for the Ss, I didn't find one on their website when I searched for a TT specific seat.

I'm sure Baldwin can take care of you also.
