Hey, my CityX is starting to sound a little rough, and wanted to get some feedback on what I should try and look into. I'd really rather avoid going to a dealer if at all possible (short on cash).

It started earlier this spring when it was still a bit cold out; when the engine would rev above ~2500, it started sounding like something metal was rattling around. On though was I had changed the oil to Mobil 1 10W40 last November, and I've got about 1000 miles on the stuff, but it is a bit heavy for what the temperature is now (60's or so). I only use super premium (93) in the tank, and was thinking maybe running some cleaner through the system, see if that helps at all. Any other ideas of where to look? The bike is completely stock.

Glitch may be right. Safe bet to check it. But the way it sounds is your primary chain needs the tension adjusted. It usually makes more racket when the RPM's get a tad higher.

I'll check into that Glitch, thanks. Bads1 I checked the tension on the chain when I started riding it again this spring, looked good, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to check again =P. Thanks guys.
