Broke off the right foot peg and smashed the right bar end thing. Thought I saw the pegs as a set for $25. What about the bar end plug that the hand guards attach too? He was honest enough to leave a note and his number.

WOW! what a strange/rare thing to happen!
You'll only need the peg, not sure if you can only buy one though.
You may get lucky though.

I would post in the classifieds here that you need a peg, someone might have one for sale, would be cheaper than new. Anyway I will dig up the part number.

I have the regular R set from when I switched to the lower set. IIRC, the lower set is almost the same price as the single one, and more available.

Wow!!! My local Buell/HD dealer has the right footpeg in stock, ordering the end caps. Gonna pick up the footpeg today. I feel so alive!!!!!!

So my local Buell/Hd dealer was having a 15% off sale on parts. Basically, I got the right footpeg and both handlebar endcaps including the cost of shipping the endcaps to my house for $20.31. When I called the guy to tell him he owes me $20 he almost didn't believe me. He met me outside yeterday and gave me $40 cash. Not a bad deal. The dealership also had clutch cables in stock. I know many complain about that. The parts guy says he is on the Badweb all the time. He has a 1996 S1.
