I have had an awful start to my Friday...let me start off by saying 1 of these things is my fault.

First...on my way to a little company breakfast this morning my bike was sputtering..I was like oh great...

I haven't got to check it out fully but I think I overfilled my oil and I have oil on the spark plug? Does this sound right?

So after I get to the restaurant I was enjoying a nice gravy biscuit next thing I know I feel something wet hit me in the back. I reach around and come to find out I have ketchup all over my back. Someone shook the glass ketchup bottle without the lid on it... *facepalm*

So I have to go home after we are finished eating to change shirts. On my way back to my office I get shit on by a bird. I was also an hour late getting in.

FML.

Well, they say bad things come in threes. Hopefully the day will get better. Grab a case of your favorite beer, go home and start drinking heavily.

oh...and the bird shit deal sucks. It happened to me a few years ago getting out of my truck for a company dinner. I was wearing a nice black suit....Mr. Birdy decided to releave himself right on my zipper. Yes, my zipper...I still get made fun of and I don't even work for that company any more.

LOL,it totally isn't good luck. Right now my office computer is randomly restarting. So I busted out the laptop while I am rebuilding my office computer.

Things just keep getting worse, I can only laugh now lol.

i think if you over filled your oil, it would dump into the airbox. maybe a fouled air cleaner or intake area.

So I just got to check it out.

I went to check my oil level, and it started spewing over.

So I am letting it cool now and I will drain some out. I should have read a little bit more into the oil changes. Apparently the 09's suck their oil back into their engine when it is shut off.

I was wondering what kind of "damage" this could have caused so I can check for it.

After you drained your oil and changed your filter you should have put precisely 2.5 quarts back in. You have to warm the engine up by riding it about ten miles before getting an accurate reading on the dip stick.

Why are you trying to have a worse day than I have been having? There is no need. Relax, breathe, a new day will be along soon.....try tomorrow.....no sense in skipping around, you might miss some good days!
