Kind of like the turn signals (rears) on the 1125's. Seem rugged and not flimsy like some LED replacements I have seen. Anyone look into this? Any help would be appreciated.

They bolt right on no problem. I will be doing it, but funds and the issues they had with the first batch of them put me off for now. I believe they got them all sorted out.

Now...Are they LED's? If they are do you require something so they don't blink too fast?

are you talking about the 1125 mirror/ turn signal combo thing? if so, yes they bolt right up but you have to make a small hole in the fairing for the wires. but thats it. i did it a few months ago and am extremely happy with them

and yes, you will need the relay flasher thing if you don't want your blinkers going fast. that is for any led turn signals though

Yes they are LED, no you do not need a different flasher as (according to what ive read here) the signals have resistors in them to mimic bulb signals. The XB12XP comes with the LED rear signals and standard fronts. (Or so ive been told)

make sure you get the right/left sides sorted out as they aren't like most aftermarket led signals. if you reverse the polarity when you plug them in you ruin the whole thing. This on is of the dual function signals in the rear 1st vid turn down sound my cell ph mic and a running 12r with a Micron Exhaust didnt get along hehe. The second short video is of a pair 1125r signals on the front of my 12R along with the HID's lit

ok so I am a little confused. Do I need a new relay or not. I am trying to put rear side signals from a 1125r onto the front and rear of xb12r.

Because of the lower power consumption of LED lights, your flasher will think you got a light out and will flash faster. Thats were the resistor comes in that simulates a bulb so that will not happen. Worst comes to worse it does need the different flasher, American Sport Bike sells them.

Ochoa I know for a fact that if you reverse the polarity you will burn it out I bought a set of 4 off a guy and burnt 2 up before I emailed the guy and he told me to watch the polarity I even switched the polarity and it don't work you fry them.

the 1125r signals come stock with a male end and a female end to fit on a XB model you have to replace the female end with a male end and that end is the ground when you hook it up to an XB model which is the black wire on my 12R

Under the flyscreen, right below the gages on Lightning and Uly models. Firebolts, never tore one open but should be in the same area.

On the firebolt it is inside the front fairing, above the headlights on the headlight
mount bracket.
