I did a search and read that alot of you are using the handy stand. I like it's price the best over the competiton. I am a little confused though, on their webpage they have a disclaimer stating that their stand will not function with Buell XB's. So how can some of you be using it? Did you have to modify it?

I use them and yeah you have to modify them. The rear you have to cut a 1/2 inch off the pads because the rear stand isn't quite wide enough.Thats a easy fix with a little hand saw of any type. But the front your gonna have to add a 1/2 inch to the left arm of the stand because one fork leg is longer then the other,so get the welder. It most likely cost $20-$30 to have someone fix it up for you.Still alot less then some stands even if you have to fix them up some.

I had to make the rear stand a little wider. The pads slide into a square tube that sticks out about 1/4" from the round tubing. I cut both square tubes as close to the weld as I could. This made the width perfect without cutting the pads.

I also have and prefer the Pit Bull stands. They are more money but well worth it to me. Just depends on how often you are going to use it.

Full sets(front with pin and rear) of Pit Bull stands on sale for 250.00

Hey Daves,
The front Pitbull stand, is that the one that lifts from the triple tree?

Yes, the Pit Bull front stand has a pin that fits in the bottom of the triple tree and lifts.

Goen60,
I "think" the rear stand is about 100.00

03xb9r
No, you can't mount spools(easily anyway) to your XB. You don't really need them, both rear stands I sell work right on the swingarm itself.

The stand lists for 129.00 so after the discount it would be 116.10 plus the 12.00 shipping would total 128.10
