When putting the drummer on my bike i saw something scary on the belt! The hard layer that covers the tooth off the belt is comming of!!This day i ran it like hell and nothing happend but still it took my trust away!My dealer will order a new one, hopefully this is a one off kind problem.the bike has just 2440kms.So for the other 12owners: check your belt!

Thanks for that BFB, I'll check mine tomorow. I wasn't quite sure exactly what to look for, but will give it a general inspection anyway.

I did notice the same thing on mine but did not really think anything of it ...seemed to be in random spots but just the same ...Should we be concerned ?

Dave not all HD/Buell dealers are as wise as you or Brian's...they honestly (attitude apparent) wish Buells would dry up and blow away

My local dealer stocks Buell fork oil and oil filters... I've heard they may even have brake pads too!

the s bars may fit under neath but it will be close. what you would need then would be fairing , mirrors nuts and bolts and bracket and figure out where to put the ignition switch.
i think that would be about it

I had my belt replace by my dealer under warranty at 2600 hundred miles. The defective belt was found by dealer when replacing tires.

So, would 65 ft lbs be bad? It seemed like they were 100 ft lbs when I tried to break them. Thanks guys!
