That RPM place isn't too far from my home. I maybe will slip over there someday and take a look at the product in person.

I actually like seeing the CHP out and about in Malibu; keeps the squids' speed down. Better for them, better for me...

Actually, I haven't been pulled over on a motorcycle in more than 20 years - however it IS a concern that I MAY be pulled over by Stout on the Crest - just because it's obvious that I don't have stock pipes.

He's even been known to wait in the parking lot at Newcomb's Ranch restaurant for riders to come out and attempt to ride away. He's a legendary local law enforcement dude. Also, I really hate riding those areas (the Crest and Mulholland) on weekends just because of the heavy sportbike traffic... not to mention the double fine zones can mean tickets pushing $1000+ for multiple violations.

I actually support local LE types keeping the speeds sane in these areas simply because it has gotten so freaking bad in the past 10 years.

Although - the GOOD thing is that with all the wrecks on a weekend, it gives us racers more cheap salvage parts to use as spares - so to be honest, I have mixed emotions about speeders. I can ALWAYS use spare parts.

I would like to quiet my drummer in the morning. Is there a cheap way to do this that's easily removable for my ride home?

here in Texas I don't see or hear of people getting pulled over for loud pipes. Instead I see and hear about people getting pulled over for not having mirrors, having there plates hidden or not mounted at all, unathorized lighting, or just doing stupid stuff on the road.

I have heard of Harley riders getting pulled over in Washington state because their loud pipes attracted attention to other issues about their machine or riding style.

Some of the louder bikes are owned by cops and firemen who ride together, so they seem to cut us some slack, provided that we are not behaving like idiots.
