While on the clock hold down the M and R buttons together until the clock starts to flash. Then press the M button to change hour and the R to change minutes. When done press the M and R buttons together again and your done.

I can't talk...I don't have one either. I just play with things until I figure it out or take it apart to learn how to put it together.

That Buell Owners Manuel must have been written by a lawyer. It's very funny. Seems like no matter what you do you'll suffer an injury or even die if you do it incorrectly.

Watch out setting that clock.

I can set it but when I turn the bike off it doesn't keep the time. It shuts off too.

Does the correct time come back when you turn it back on? Mine only looses the time completely when you unplug the battery.

Hey, as long as we have a discussion about funny running bikes, maybe some of you guys could come over and take a listen to my engine; sounds like it's only running on two cylinders...

And while you're there, maybe you could show me how to tighten up the chain? I looked everywhere and can't find a single adjustment for it!

Lighting, when I turn the key off, the time goes off too.

The clock goes off when the key is in the "off" position. It should come back with the correct time once you turn the bike on.

If it doesn't come back with the right time your battery connections may be loose or the battery may be failing.

Smiley1eye, did you check the muffler bearings? That might be the problem!

Cyclonedon,

I took it into the dealer for that very thing. It must be a real pain to have checked because it cost me a FORTUNE!

They said they were OK this time, but to bring it back regularly so they could check on them.

And I guess regular muffler bearings won't work on mine; I have to have "underslung muffler bearings". Boy, Buells sure are high tech!

They really like me there and they must think I'm a pretty funny fellow because I heard them all laughing as I walked out the door.

hehe
