Just got the XB rocker covers on my X1. I had them powder coated black, I think they look pretty nice. Can't wait to have it back and running again. (and just in time for the 20th)

Looks good. How much for the parts? How bout writing up a procedure with parts list / problems / mods required? I have heard the front is a tight fit requiring some grinding. How was it for you?

The motor isnt completely into the frame yet, so I'm not sure about grinding. But the Tech that put them on said that they are easier than the stock setup! Which seems to make sense because there are less parts. I can't wait to see how it works.

My covers did not need any clearancing, bolt them on, good to go. Maybee thats just the difference between the frame on an X1 and M2/S3?

I'll post again with it all up and running.

Just finished this procedure on my S1 this past week. For me I had to rotate the engine down to do the rear box. With it rotated down I had to loosen the front moto-mount to get the new cover past it. With it all bolted back up I have no issues with the set-up. I really like how it cleans up the left side of the engine.
