Hello brothers, Maybe someone knows the difference between stock ECM-air filter-muffler and racing buell ECM-a.f.-muffler,in HP for XB12? Thanks |

I will direct you to http://www.americansportbike.com/ They did a complete exhaust +ECM shootout, comparison, on both the XB9 and the XB12. There are sound clips, dyno charts, and comparison charts. They tested the stock muffler, race muffler, D&D, Jardin, Micron, etc...basically every muffler available for the XB series Buell's XB12 Stock muffler 84 lb-ft @5900 Stock ECM 101 hp @6800 Race muffler 89.8 lb-ft @5200 Race ECM 102.2 hp @6500 Race muffler 88.9 lb-ft @5500 Stock ECM 102.8 hp @6800 |

Just be careful with that data taken out of context. We were on a "happy" dyno, so the relative values are all that count. Also, in context, the dyno shootout wasn't "ours", it was the work of a bunch of sponsors and folks here. I coordinated the test, compiled the data and host the results, but a lot of folks credited in the report did a lot of work to produce it. Al |
