my gauges are broke on my lighting, and i have seen some on ebay but the mileage is way higher.so the question is , is the mileage stored in the gauge it self or is it in the computer?

More than likely the computer. Everything is computerized now a days.

Hi Shawn.
The gauge holds the mileage number, otherwise swapping to the Race ECM would have set me and a lot of other guys to zero miles.

Its in the gauge cluster. If you ordered a brand new one, the factory can program it to match your old ones mileage.

i was afraid it was in the gauge. that sucks, did not want to have to buy a new one.
