Im going to be moving my xb9s on my truck this week.. and dont know where i should tie it down to not to cause any damage? i know its kind of a stupid question,, but better i ask than spend$$ on repair.. thank you

wrap the straps over the bottom triple clamps. Piece of cake.

Don't use Canyon Dancers or others that strap onto the bars.

Not at all a dumb question. I did not strap down the rear of one of my bikes firmly enough (in my toy hauler) so due to the suspension bouncing, the bike ended up tipping over. Just a mirror busted but still...

I use these Ancra soft straps above the triple clamps (not on the bar as shown) to attach the tie-downs to.



It keeps the hard parts on the tie-downs well away from the bike and they were cheeeep.

Don't attach them to the grips, like my step-brother did on his GSXR1000...

That reminded me of how big of a PITA getting strap buckles through my XBS headlight area was. My advice is to buy those straps and use them through the triple tree

Some straps (like my ancra "rat pack" straps) have the soft tie loops built in.

I didn't realize it when I ordered them, but it is a very nice feature.

I use Canyon Dancer padded tie down adapters. Much like the ones pictured above, but all one piece and padded.
