i got my 03 xb9s about 2 weeks ago. the bikes rims are dirty, but because the rims are slightly porous i can't get them really clean. does this just happen over time, or did the previous owner 'let them go'. is there a way to do this, or should i paint them black. if i paint them black, what is the best way to do it. can they be powder coated? what have other guys done? |

go to the car wash and use the presoak stuff on them, then wash them real good with the high pressure there. then polish the lips. see mine in my profile. |

Dont point high pressure water near the wheel bearings! You can always use some simple green and good rim brush. |

Use S100. Let it soak in. It the best that I have found. |
