So I have the race kit for my XB and need to order the straps. There was a post a week or so ago that addressed alternate straps. However no one gave good measurements. As Im stuck in Iraq till summer, I was looking to get the straps orderd before I left so they would be waiting on me when I got back. I was hoping somebody could post a source and part numbers or measure the lenght of the front and back straps. Actually the distance around the muffler and the support. One Badwebber mentioned Deep Blue Yacht supply, they have the goods. I just need to know the sizes so I can have the straps waiting on me when I get home. A quarter inch is a lot when you only have 3 threads of the nut grabbing the clamp. Leo | ||

I didn't think about that Snakedriver. I just ordered a new front strap so I will be able to measure it. It will probably be a few weeks before it gets in though. I'll post the measurement if no one else chimes in. | ||
