I just talked to Xbullet and the S clamp is in the mail for my R. I want to get it turned around as quick as I can so New12r can have my clamp for his bike.

Does anyone know what parts I am going to need to get this done in a timely manner?

I know I need to pick up a set of bars, grips and top clamp. But, will the brake line, throttle cables and wires need to be a little longer. Or will I be able to re-route them?

Wires should fit, You will need throttle cables, brake line and clutch cable.

I dont know what you are going to do with the key switch tho?

Wolf, I just did the reverse and put an R triple on my S so i can give some insite. The front brake line on the S is longer then the R. Wasn't a problem for me I Just have extra line but you will need a longer one. I think you will also need the S clutch cable, I cant remember if they are different Lengths or if the R just has the Metal Bend at the end of it.

Im not sure if your throttle cables will be long enough, again I had a little extra but I just re-routed them to take up the slack and not bind.

I don't think so. I am going to the local bike shop and pick up what looks and feels right.

Going from and S TO AN R IS fine, the cables are longer on an s to they will fit on the R. Now when you go 3 inches further from where they used to go the R cables WILL NOT FIT on an S setup.

Now if you use really low bars(like drag bars or Azionic lows) on the S clamp you MAY?? get them to fit but with anything close to a stock bar setup you can forget it.

The new bars will have to be drilled for the nubs (locators) on the switch housings, or cut the nubs off.
