Just wondering if anybody planned on attending the Keith Code SBS class (phase 1) on April 8 Sunday. Ill be there riding my bike, a friend of mine wants to take his track bike for the class. The site suggests 90% or better tread, Im projecting Ill have like 70% so will I need to buy some new rubber before then? If so should I scrub them in?? Ahhh questions, questions... So is anybody else going?

New rubber. period. You will melt your tires.

Don't worry about scrubbing them in. You'll get ample opportunity at the track for that!

Didn't anyone ever tell you that you should always put on new rubber when you're going to be pushing it fast and hard?

Always use fresh rubber.

I'll probably be over at Willow this weekend to watch a buddy race. I was on their website earlier today checking out dates for riding schools because that is one of my "going to do it" plans for this year.

I may have to think about that.

Come to Willow this weekend, we're all racing. Fun stuff and free lunch in our pits on Sunday.

Vaneo - don't worry about scrubbing the tires. First laps are ESCORTED and are so slow to make sure you see the track from the rider's seat without any stress. They'll be scrubbed in just fine, no worries. Trust me, they just won't let you go fast the first time out.

Good to see you Brett!

Glad you made it out.

Guys,

We're doing a Buell track day on the Streets on the 19th of March.

Really good opportunity. We'll be there with all our tools and stuff so in case you are uncertain about setting up your bikes, just bring them on out and we'll help get you rolling.

Mario at Glendale is working on discounts but right now, it's set at $125

This is being run by Hypercycle.

Stay in touch
