I see there are 3 different bars on american sport bikes site. is the low rise stock replacement for the 12s?
any one have them do they fit ok?
I think my stock bars might be bent ever so slightly on the right. there is quite a bit more clearance between the left fork and the bar and the right fork.
maybe when I crashed over a year ago it bent it a little but not enough to notice to much.

Can you describe how they are better? I am debating those bars vs. crossroads. Thanks

lower and more forward than stock bars...I still have the upright seating that I wanted, but it's a more aggressive stance than before.
no vibration
wider ...i think handling has become better & easier to whip around.
not polished
...& about 1/4th the price of the crossroads
I would say, try the renethals or another aluminum "low" bar first...if you are unhappy, then go the the cross roads.

I think the Renthal ultra lows are about the same profile as the Azonic cr lows.

freezer burn,
I think you're right. I was going to put the Azonics on my bike, but couldn't find them anywhere...that & I work for a dealer & Parts Unlimited distributes Renethal...but I've seen some other low moto-style bars on e-bay & stuff.

Just FYI, the Renthal ultra-lows are not like the Azonic CR lows at all. The Renthal ultra-lows are very close to the stock CityX bar. I made that mistake, tried the CR Lows', ended up with the crossroads... they are expensive but the best fit for me IMO.

I put Pro Taper "seven-eights" on my 12s and I like them a lot. I cut about an inch off of both ends to narrow them up just a touch. They're very similar to the Renthals as far as I can tell. One thing to keep in mind is that aluminum bars are often thicker wall than steel. So, your stock bar-ends will need replacing if you haven't already done that.

Roger that. The Renthals are double-walled, so your stock barends won't fit. Either have to buy the Renthal barends, or go with the way cool Kellerman barend signals like I did.

Also, I think my Renthal Ultra-lows have a bit more pull back than the CR's. The CR's seem straighter to me. Renthals are pricier too...around $60 usually, where as the steel Azonics are much cheaper.

My O-neal azonic cr low aluminum bars where cheap. I cut my bars too, I think a inch off each side? But dont go cutting your bars before you try them and make sure all the mounting issues are worked out. I like them, super cheap but really not like a clip on.

I cut an inch and a half off of my Azonic lows but wouldn't do it again because the controls fit very snug. You can safely cut an inch from each end. It's a much nicer riding position with your head further forward into the wind.

Here's my Renthal ultra lows from American Sportbike, I like them way better than stock.......

They are much lower and a hair wider than stock CityX bars also.
