Well this is a short one,but kinda ticked me off anywho. I'm putting new tires on my Buell, so logically I thought I would see how much my local HD shop would charge me if I brought the tires and rims in. WELL, they told me $35 a wheel and that's without balancing because their balancer doesnt' handle rims/wheels as big as the Buells. What the fauck, a Buell dealer and can't even change a flat. I ended up going to my local BIG DOG dealer and got them changed and balanced for $25 each.

Somebody just didn't want your business. Look at the wheels on the various H-D's. 17-21 in and 5 in wide.

The Vrod runs 19 120 on the front and 18 180 on the rear. Last I checked 18 and 19 are bigger than 17.

They probably meant the cones for the rear rim as opposed to the size of the wheel itself.

My local HD dealer will mount and balance a tire for $25. They do a good job.

They offered to replace just my rear tire for $285 once (holyshit). I laughed in the service managers face because I really thought he was joking.

What is so odd about the Buell rims?
