Quick question. I tried to search but didn't find the answer. Whats the best way to remove the stickers on the airbox, and is it any different if you have a translucent box ('06 CityX)? I think I want to remove the "American Motorcycle" from the airbox just to clean it up a bit. Thanks,

I heated mine with a hair dryer and cleaned the remaining adhesive off with WD40. It worked great.

I just pealed mine off yesterday using a small flat head screwdriver without heating (I don't own a hair dryer). Cleaned up with WD40. It now looks like 'Buell' is ghost painted on due to the faded plastic. Kind of cool actually.

Do you park your bike outdoors?

My decals all came off by hand, no tools needed. The very small amount of sticky stuff left behind balled up fairly easily under my thumb with some spirited rubbing.

I don't, but I just got it a month ago and it is an '03. Don't know anything about the previous owner because it was a repo.

Dude, your little animations make my crappy laptop chug.

Ah, well you can't control what the last guy did, for sure.

Sorry your laptop is slow. I have tested all my graphics on a 66mhz Pentium laptop with no video card and only 32MB of RAM and running Windows 95. They all run smoothly, so I don't know what to tell you about yours. More than likely, your problem is typical of the standard which I encounter 90% of the time when I work on a PC. Too much software in resident memory whether you're aware of it or not.

Send me a pm if you want some help with it.

You are correct about the problem, but 'they' will not give me admin rights to fix. It really sucks when you know more about computers than your sys admin.

Thanks man. Not be an a$$, but could you imagine how obnoxious this forum would be if everyone had one? I've seen sights like that and can't stand looking at them. Crappy laptop excluded.

Did we just hijack this thread? Sorry!

P.S. I wouldn't speak to loudly about hacking abilities. I think there are a few feds on this board.
