Does anyone have a decent rear tire that they would get rid of for fairly cheap. I cant afford a new set right now and my front is in great shape compared to my basically bald rear. My bike is my commuter so if anyone could help out with this it would be truly appreciated. Diablos are coming in a couple months, so anything to last that long would be all I need.

Thanks in advance,
Darryl

I have a brand new metzler m1 that I had on there for about 100 miles and then I got a hole in it. A local dealer said that they could patch it. It is a very small nail hole. If you want it, I would get rid of it cheap. Two people said they could patch it and it would be reliable, but i was leaving on a 1000 mile trip THAT day, so I had them put on a new tire.

Let me know.

Ask the racers around you about race take-offs. They are used race tires. The edges
will be gone, but the center will usually have many miles left in them.

A lot of racers will have a few sets laying around that they will part with...CHEAP!

Unfortunately I can't help you, we've been running slicks on the track for about the
past year, not treaded tires. The KC guys should be able to help you locate a tire if
you hit them up over on storm fronts. A bunch of them race/ride at MAM, Hallett, and
Heartland park.

If you're ever over in my neck of the woods Columbia/Mexico MO give me a shout.
