Hey guys and Gals,
Got a 2005 xb12scg the wifes and shes wants the R tail on it, I have now got all parts needed for the change Just wonder on a few things before I begin, Under the rear passenger seat on the R there is or was a little tray area, Does this NOW get used up with wires, etc.etc. so no more tray area when I am done, Also any pointers, you have on routing wires,or things to watch out for as I know others here have done so, etc.etc before I begin or know of any links, within Bad Weathers files here?? Thanks all...!!!!

The "tray area" is a storage compartment on the R models. It should be empty and free of wires and any debris. As far as install from an S to R, I have not done one personally so I can not comment on pointers. Good luck tho and lets see some pics when done.

Hey Beachbuell,
Yup, Thanks for the info, I knew that it is used for that on the R models, My question was does this now get used up for wires, etc. when I change it to the r model from the S, As extra wires and what have ya from the S wire system versus the R wire harness?? etc etc???

Hogs,

You're going to need to lengthen the wires for the turn signals to fit them around this tray. It's not too difficult, a little splicing will take care of it.
