Thats right, just over 1,000 miles and the bike is still running strong.
Just got sick of reading all the negative posts about problems ect ect. Figured I'd give some much needed praise to the Buell Factory, and the bike, for being great at what it was designed to do... own the corners. Feel free to pay homage here...

22K and yesterday I switched to second from from first at about 6400RPM (at 5K' elevation) with only a hair of clutch and walked the front about 4-5 inches off the ground for about 10 feet...

Runnin' strong : ).

I had a tire issue last weekend and an electrical issue (my shifter NOT Buell's fault),
But I love my Buell and riding it!

I was shifting somewhere near redlline ( was watching traffic) into 3rd, or maybe 4th (idk) while entering the autobahn and I walked it across a whole lane on the rear wheel alone. I was impressed!

I think I have around 1400 miles on it now, maybe more. I ride it EVERY DAY.

Just hit 10K miles after a 1,300 mile, four day trip to Wisconsin and back for Homecoming. The little 'bolt never missed a beat.

1350 miles as of today, got it May 26th. All stock so far and no real problems, although mileage of about 43 MPG after the first two tanks at over 50 despite mostly doing a 70 MPH commute cruise is way lower than the 50+ I expected (I'm no jockey and I don't have a constant tailwind, but I expected more with a rating of 65).

Had the 1K service done yesterday and the bike sounds better (seems to have a lower exhaust note) but also seems to have lost a little bottom end torque as I had trouble getting up my steep, twisty, dusty, driveway afterwards for the first time (pinged when throttling out of the slow spots in first). Also a rattling sound that could have been a loose primary that started a couple of days ago didn't go away despite the primary being one of the 1000 mile checks (and I mentioned it).

It loves to turn and does OK just cruising (comfy seat) although I get buffeted a bit unless I totally tuck (I'll get a windshield or maybe one of Al's 3" taller C/F windscreens, just realized American Sport Bike is only about 5 miles from my mom's). I love it overall, and I think it is the right bike for me.

My only real gripes are with parts and service. There are too few accessories for the Ss (come on Buell, make a cover), the dealers stock nothing for Buell (it seems like Daves is even having trouble getting a couple of things for me from the factory, but I may just be impatient 'cause I ride it so much), and they want you to schedule service two weeks in advance (I needed my 1000 mile in less than two weeks, who knew back then?). At least the service was less than estimated, thank God.

Oh man, sorry... there was some negativity there... but not about the bike!

I've got 5500 on mine. Got it last Nov. Ride everyday, rain or shine. Taking the Uly on the first long trip next thursday. Montgomery, AL to East Dubuque, IL (911 miles) can't wait. Let you know how it went when I get back. Love everything about the ULY. Buells are a blast to own.
