I have a problem. My friend recommend that I order some new tires from a certain website popular with his CBR newsgroup. He had no issues with them. So I ordered some Pirelli Scorpions and kept all records of the transaction. The guy ships me Dunlop D616s. I send a polite email with photos and all steps of the transaction and receipts. The guys sends me an email that he can't help me since I did not answer his first imaginary email that he has sent before I even knew I had the wrong tires. I panic and ask him to call me. His website does say no phone calls but I never guessed he would threaten not to help me. Needless to say he has threatened to procrastinate, not send a return label and thinly disguised that he will damage the tires if I send them back. My bank cannot even contact the guy. So I got the whole Visa dispute thing going. My problem is that I would love to return the tires. I could mail at my expense the tires to my brother who lives an hour and a half away and he can personally deliver the tires to the guy. The guy refused to give me a shipping label to do that. Is there another route I could go? My money will be returned via the bank but is there a better way to get the tires to the guy and make sure they are not damaged by him? I don't want to make this guy any more hostile so I am trying to do this the right way without an angry mob attacking him in case he is taking some bad meds. I just need some ideas on making sure he doesn't damage the tires.

I would work through Visa, return the tires when their dispute resolution process dictates.

Get the money back through Visa, and NEVER do business with that jerk again.

I will tell the name after all of this is over so that it doesn't sabotage the process but if you are thinking of buying tires now...be wary of any SWMOTOTIRE company located in Tuscon. Also remember tons of other people had great luck with this place and maybe he just didn't like my name. I will post all the emails we had going on too so you can see how angry he is and how I don't help with my stupid attempts at humor.

I really hope there might be two sides to this situation. I have done business with SwMototire for years and have had nothing but the best of service from them along with the best delivered pricing. Please keep us informed as to how this evolves.

I have had the same thing happen to me but from a different place... (forgot the name)
Luckily the tires I ordered where for an older machine and did not cost an arm and a leg.. And I decided that its not worth my time to deal with the guy and I will just ebay them...

I have had good luck with SWMototires in the past, but I have heard that it is one of those places that is great when things go smoothly, but if anything goes wrong you are f*cked.

The guy that runs the place has ZERO people skills.
