When you installed your Drummer SS, did you worry about the oil from your skin on the can? Will it discolor the pipe when it gets hot? If you did clean the pipe after installation, what did you use to remove the oil? Thanks...

Kevin uses mineral spirits to clean them before shipment. My SS has been handled by me and covered with grime as well. I've never noticed any staining on it. I usually use a damp paper towel or Windex on it. The front end cap is a bit grit blasted in the center because I have elected not to use the chin spoiler.

I didn't clean mine after I installed it and I didn't see any discoloration at all in over 1500 miles. Mine is filthy right now but holding up beautifully!
