Ok guys every time i turn the blinkers on I burn a fuse. Any suggestions? I have taken the blinker clam shell loose and I dont see anything loose or grounded out.

You probably already know this, but it sounds like you have a dead short in the blinker circuit. I have heard of a few people finding chaffed wires in the area of the head of the frame where the triple trees mount. Movement + wires = the possibility of chaffing. If you don't find anything there, I would follow/trace the wires of the blinker circuit from one end to the other. I know; it's no fun.

un plug the blinkers, if the short is still there its in the main harness, ( most likely by the steering neck) if the short goes away check the blinkers themselves

u got a dead short to ground pal....unplug the blinkers all at once then hook them up one at a time until you blow the fuse....theres a chaffed wire somewhere...easy fix

I don't know the XB's, but the power probably goes from the fuse, to the flasher unit, then to the turn signal switch. Since the fuse doesn't blow with the switch in the middle, the problem is common to both the left and right signals - which is kinda wierd. Safe way to troubleshoot this is to put a spare headlamp bulb across the fuse connections - (a lamp has a very low cold resistance) and it will probably light when the switch is activated. Disconnect wiring or move the harness until the lamp goes out. Good Luck.

The steering neck has some sharp edges. It's pretty easy to chaff wires that are back there. My S had a problem where it was blowing the ign fuse every other time I hit the start button.
It took about a week and a half to find the chaffed wire in the harness behind the steering neck.
It was a very, very frustrating search but once it was found it took about 5 minutes to remedy it.
That was back in June and I havn't had any more problems since.

Ok here is an update of were I’m at with the electrical problem. First of all I isolated it to just the left blinker. The lights, horn, and right blinker are all ok. It only blows a fuse when I try to turn on the left blinker. Then I tore down the clam shell for the blinker housing, took off the wind screen and head lamp assembly and even took off the heat shrink around the blinker/horn/light wiring harness. Inspected everything for bare wires, broken or loose fittings or grounded out wires. Nothing!!!! Unplugged the front blinker from the harness still blows a fuse when I turn the left blinker on did the same to the back blinker with the same result. I’m thinking it has to be a bad switch! I went ahead and ordered a new one today 38$, so hopefully Ill know something by the end of the week.

99x1 gave you THE best electrical troubleshooting advice you will EVER get. he told you to hook a 12 volt bulb across the empty fuse holder, and joggle, wiggle, fuss with the switch, wire harness, etc. when the circuit is loaded the bulb will illuminate. THAT is the best way to find shorts to ground. good luck.

Allright ive done the headlamp test and when I turn the left blinker on the flash module just hums. Right blinker is fine, but when I turn on the left it hangs and just hums. Does this mean the flasher module is bad?

The headlamp bulb is to protect the wiring harness from melting while testing for shorts. (The bulb limits the current, an automotive fuse blows at a very high initial current - a 20 amp blade style fuse blows at 20 amps after 1 second, at 0.1 seconds it can pass almost 100 amps - BussAuto.pdf). The flasher has a DOT standard that it has to indicate a open or shorted bulb by flashing at least half or double the flash rate to indicate the fault. With the flasher humming (with the bulb replacing the fuse, there is no harm being done), remove bulbs, move wiring, disconnect the left wire off the hand control, etc... until the humming changes.
