Live in the Pacific Northwest and went riding yesterday. Soaked everything in my backpack. Any recommendations on a good waterproof pack that will hold a helmet? Anyone tried the Ortlieb X-Cursion?

I just got this one for Christmas ... I hope! It comes with it's own raincoat ... like a shower cap that can be velcro-ed over the rucksack.

I normally put my stuff into ziplock bags, of a big trash bag before it goes into the backpack. Always keeps the stuff dry.

Decided to go with the Ventura system and the storm cover to have some options for carrying other things as well. Also will put something lite and solid on the rack to prevent the spray from the rear tire from coming up. Had Odie do my tail piece and love the look but slightly impractical here in the NW in the raining season. Thanks for your help.

Axio has some good ones. I'm going to be looking into one of them when I get back.
