My XB will be very happy, She is getting new plugs, wires, oil, tranny fluid, clutch adjustment, fork oil, fork bushings, tube seals, dust boots, safety wired, tires, brakes, washed and taken to the Track on New Years day to have the living $h!t beat out of her.

I wish that I could go with you to the track. It would be fun. I have never did just a track day. I guess it would take me a while to get used to going round and round the same area. Hope you have a great time and maybe it will warm up.

I hear you on the "round and round" deal. However I have done a few track days and the best way I can explain it that it accelerates your learning because you can go through a turn kind of funny, then try it again relatively quickly but using a different line to see what the difference is. Plus having an instructor follow you or you follow them you have the benefit of their feedback on areas that you might want to work on.

You can get the same thing on a road you ride many times however there is usually no instructor providing feedback (in a group ride you might) and it takes a while to get back to the same turn.

Plus the speeds are generally increased while turning...or the turning intensity is increased. I must say there are not too many times on a public road that I would be going 120 and turning...

I bought these bad boys for my bike and me.

The construction of these gloves is excellent and I know for sure my hands are well protected. Riding in the winter with these gloves is great. My hands aren't frozen like they would be with the previous set of gloves. Only thing about these gloves is the material on the thumb is kinda short. When I tried them on in the store the fix was nice but with my hands on the bars it puts a lot of pressure on my thumb. I wont return the gloves instead i'm trying to stretch the materal around the thumb and pointer finger.
