I got into Buell around Aug. 2003. This was when Buell was touting the XB12 and the Interactive Exhaust.

A couple days ago I was talking to someone about Buell and it was mentioned how the XB9 exhaust uses chambers rather than baffels for quieting the sound down and keeping power up. I was wondering if anyone can comfirm this and give me the scoop about the XB9 stock exhaust?

That's correct..the exhaust comes in through the front of the can runs down a pipe and dumps into a chamber in the end...it then travels through another pipe back to the front of the can and dumps into the chamber at that end...it then travels down a third pipe and out the tip...
